  2. @JasonGreen401 Exactly, Keep in mind that you won’t abs until you get rid of the fat storage in your body, I’ve been doing Mike Geary’s Method ( an E-book with 106 pages of solid info about abs, diets, Exercises) along with this routine and in just 1 week I have lost around 12 pds of body fat, Mike’s method it’s kinda expensive but was worth every penny spent on it, I highly recommend it, this is Mike’s link if you want to check out

  4. This routine is great, but doing the right ab exercises is just ONE PART of the equation…

    The real key to getting abs is getting a low enough body fat percentage. And you do that by doing cardio, eating right and developing ALL the major muscle groups so they burn fat.

  10. I have a question I was wondering how long it takes to get results? Also I just started doing this a couple of weeks ago and I only got sore like the first two times. Does that mean Im doing something wrong or is it normal not to be sore

  11. @polisnas Hi did this about 18 months ago, at first every other day, and then later on everyday.. I can honestly say it made a huge difference and my ab area was so much flatter, however when you stop doing this.. like i did (due to pure laziness) the hard work is easily undone. I have started this work out again from today, and i am looking forward to seeing the great results i got last time.. hope this helps x

  14. @oDREAMERRo If your shoulders are weak, that could explain it. The shoulder and arm is working very hard to hold the body up in that position. Make sure you’re in proper alignment (hand under shoulder) to avoid pain, but if it’s still too difficult, you’ll have to modify. Come to the elbow and/or knees or drop your bottom knee to the ground during the side planks.

  15. is it normal for my arm that is holding my body up to hurt at the hip lifting exercise? it’s very difficult for me to lift my body up too. am i doing something wrong?

  17. @FlashJack2189 Most Pilates exercises will strengthen the core and the deep abdominal muscles as well as the lower back. This video should be good to start with although you should check with your doctor first since you experience back pain. If it hurts, then don’t do a particular exercise.

  20. great video. my doctor advised me to do pilates because of my lower back pain and i was just wondering what pilates exercises would u advise me to do to treat my back pain. i noticed that when doing the ‘roll up’ i feel so much pain in my lower back. i also feel pain when doing ‘the hundred’.

  21. @katiealanna Actually, yes! Pilates is safe to do daily since it doesn’t work your muscles to fatigue (and therefore require resting/rebuilding) the way traditional strength training does.
